Repository Monitor

About the Repository Monitor

As an alternative to the Journal Monitor (OAM-CH), the Repository Monitor offers visualisations and publication data from an annual nationwide survey. The Repository Monitor draws on the expertise of the AKOA’s Monitoring task force and the institutions’ subject specialists.

The participating swissuniversities members process the publication data and provide the absolute figures on Open/Closed shares of scientific publications by affiliated authors. Four types of resources are surveyed: journal articles, books, book parts and conference papers. The publication data collected for the Repository Monitor come from institutional OA repositories or other institutional publication reference systems.

On this page you will find the visualisations, which you can filter by year, institution category or resource type. You have the option of downloading the absolute figures to create your own visualisations. You can also download the underlying raw data, provided these have been made available by the participating institutions.
